Wellness and Conditioning

Before entering into the Wellness Program at the Animal Rehabilitation and Wellness Hospital, you and your companion animal will have an opportunity to meet with our treatment team for your pet’s initial evaluation.

The Wellness Program strives to improve, maintain or enhance the musculoskeletal performance and fitness of your companion animals.

The Wellness Program focuses on overall fitness for:

• Overweight and deconditioned pets
• Pets with certain chronic diseases like osteoarthritis who do not require close medical supervision
• Former Maintenance Therapy patients
• Working and sporting dogs where the goal is to promote optimal performance

Pets who are not eligible for the Wellness Program because of active orthopedic. neurologic, or other health problems that require close medical supervision, will be evaluated. A comprehensive rehabilitation program fitting their specific medical and rehabilitation needs will be discussed and implemented.
