The Animal Rehabilitation and Wellness Hospital offers specialized treatment for:

• Orthopedic trauma and surgery
• Chronic pain and geriatric deconditioning
• Degenerative joint disease
• Neurologic injuries
• Obesity
• Athletic conditioning

We offer inpatient and out-patient services.

Our staff provides the utmost care to our patients. There is an initial orthopedic or neurologic evaluation performed by a multidisciplinary team: an orthopedic surgeon, two healthcare practitioners with expertise in physical rehabilitation, and a primary care veterinarian. All members of the treatment team are Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioners. Based on the team’s findings, individual goals are set and rehabilitation recommendations are made to maximize your pet's recovery. Treatment is tailored specifically for each patient and the means to achieve these goals may be different.

Because we understand our patients' physical limitations, we have made every effort to accommodate their special needs and provide a soothing environment to reduce the stresses potentially associated with hospital visits:

• All patient areas have 100 percent rubber, high traction flooring
• All treatment and evaluation areas have comfortable floor mats on which patients are examined
• Music and television are played in our kennel rooms
