Referrals

As a complementary medical facility, we work closely with our patients’ primary care veterinarians to provide patient care.

• Please call us to initiate a referral. (If a client contacts us directly, we will call you to initiate a referral.)
• We will make every effort to see patients within 48 hours of contact.
• Our staff will keep the referring veterinarian and client fully informed of your patients’ progress.


Partnerships/Consultation

Our medical staff is available to partner or consult with you, offering post-surgical care options for the best patient outcomes.

Internships/Externships

We offer opportunities for internships for medical professionals, including veterinary technicians, interested in expanding their knowledge in the field of animal rehabilitation. Our facility, in collaboration with NCSU-CVM, provides educational opportunities for veterinary students (i.e. internships, wet labs, rotations).

The Animal Rehabilitation and Wellness Hospital is one of three facilities in the United States designated to provide certification externships to veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and human physical rehabilitation healthcare professionals who are completing their certification requirements as Canine Rehabilitation Practitioners. This program is co-jointly sponsored through the University of Tennessee and Northeast Seminars.
